Biography

Jean is a California state licensed acupuncturist and is a nationally certified acupuncturist through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She received her Masters of Science degree from Samra University in Los Angeles where she studied acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, and Chinese herbal medicine. Jean attended U.C. Berkeley for her undergraduate education, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Asian American Studies. She worked for several years in the computer animation and visual effects field prior to practicing Chinese Medicine.

Jean treats patients with a variety of health concerns. Many come to her to treat pain - from a sports injury, car or work accident, acute or chronic medical condition, or from simply having "bent over the wrong way". She has helped patients with pain, digestive issues, allergy symptoms, stress and anxiety, gynecological problems and overall immunity enhancement.
